I didn't bite anyone's head off at work.

Wiped down the very thick layer of dust on the three shelves of my bedside table with fragrance free baby wipes;

changed the fitted sheet on my bed;

showered and washed my hair;

decanted papers and other stuff that isn't rubbish from three rubbish bags into a more aesthetically pleasing storage option - a 20 litre turquoise plastic bucket, with a purple lid;

ordered some groceries for home delivery on-line;

put some things outside for someone from Buy Nothing to collect tomorrow morning.

I did a pretty big thing for my mental health today and adopted a puppy. So much of my mental health is tied up in the sentence "if the dog's not barking at it it's not dangerous" and I haven't wanted to feel like I'm replacing Jackie, but now we have Alex and I love her.

I did the task on my todoist that I always procrastinate on whenever it pops up.

In fact I've done almost all the tasks and resisted the siren call of the wallpaper removal (which is surprisingly enjoyable) in their favour.

Attended two different conferences in two different cities, and sat on a panel at the second one. It was exhausting.

I reluctantly took a sick day, because I was sick. And then my body told me that I had made the right choice, very pointedly. Good job, me.
