Just One Thing (13 December 2025)

It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished! Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!

House is cleaned, and the outdoor faucets have been wrapped/insulated for the oncoming Arctic air.

* Installed new buffet burner.

* Installed new Moroccan table lamp.

Sadly today's planned holiday market trip was wiped out by copious snow. :( So we did practical indoor things instead.

Yesterday I finished most of the notes for the Holiday Poetry Sale that starts Monday, so I am actually ahead of plan on that.

Getting things installed plus getting ahead on things for Monday sounds like a super-productive day!

Yeah, we didn't even get to my suggestions -- hanging the string of beads on the planter, and looking at a catalog with a 2-wheel engine one of whose options is a snowblower. My partner Doug had better ideas. But we may get to the other stuff later. I'm still pleased with what we've accomplished.

I made progress on a vexing puzzle, only to realize I have to figure out how to get a computer to do what I think of naturally.
