After eight months and 100+ hours of practice, I PASSED MY UK PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST.

Kohlrabi gratin (yum, but then I'd think anything baked with cream and garlic was good) and rhubarb-and-orange fool (which didn't turn out like I expected but was still fun).

Your comment about gratin reminds me that I loved escargot when I was a kid, but I'm pretty certain that's because escargot is merely a vehicle for a disproportionate amount of garlic and butter.
