Actually got out of the apartment and to a Unitarian Universalist service.

Went to church; went and got extra lights when there weren't enough for the Christmas tree, and thus decorated the tree.

Went to youngest child's end of year choir concert at Concert Hall. Sat by myself in the second from front row, managed to stay sitting despite anxiety attack (people! large space! sitting still is never a good thing, what I am supposed to be doing with this time!!!!) and very painful seats. Dragged out crochet and pretended to crochet in the dark for the second half - much much calmer with it in my hand.

And youngest had a solo, and was right in front of me. Solo was beautifully done, and I'm very proud of zer.

Yay extra lights. They're one of my favorite things about this time of year :)

I use my knitting as a similar anxiety-shield. It works surprisingly well!

I'm glad you got to see your kid do zer solo. I remember how much having my parents at my school concerts meant to me when I was a kid.

Survived a nearly-sleepless night with a sick baby running a very high temperature koala'd onto me.
