Did a lot of prep work for a solid week of single-parenting & DIY project (will take place when children are in nursery during the work week).

As part of prep: bought & made food & packaged up in Tupperware for easy access. Bought base coat, paint, rollers, brushes, etc. Planned weekend activities. Planned menus. Planned schedule for DIY. Phoned parents. Finished booking trip to USA.

Finally, drank beer & watched movie.
