Took the children to the outdoor museum nearby for a play & a picnic.
Did not shout at the re-enactment crew (13 people dressed as 18th century redcoats) who marched up during our peaceful picnic & totally failed to warn us that they were going to fire their muskets.
Soothed the terrified preschooler, packed up the picnic & went home. Finished our picnic indoors, with the blanket & foraged blackberries.
Went to the NT place with the big playground in the afternoon. Communed with the chickens.
