I got thin round elastic black cord and red and white pony beads for making individual student rekenreks - a sort of sliding abacus made of five beads of each color, ten total, strung in a line with the cord looped through so they can be slid up and down. *wriggles fingers* I should put the basket handy so I can string beads and do something else at once.
