I can't see a post for 30 August, so I'm gonna put my 30 August here:
Today, despite my lower back hurting, I
rang up about getting funding to see a psychologist, and did a lengthy and draining intake interview that asked a lot of very personal, very intrusive questions
washed my hair
went and got a haircut even though I really didn't wanna leave my house
made a formal complaint about a Transperth customer service assistant at Maylands who angrily spoke to me as though I was a naughty dog/child (I hadn't done ANYTHING to justify his anger), and who made me feel genuinely threatened and unsafe
donated books to my local library and grouped them into "Ok for under 15s" and "NOT ok for under 15s" (I read a lot of graphic novels that have too much adult content for kids, and I didn't want the librarian to think "oh, comics = 10 year olds"
went to the post office to get my mail
rang the disability access and inclusion officer @ my local council to report a cafe whose alfresco area was exceeding its marked trading boundary, with the result that wheelchair users couldn't use the footpath, and also about a hole in the footpath opposite that cafe, which compounded the problem.
