Just One Thing (22 September 2016)

It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!

Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!

Happy (Autumnal/Vernal) Equinox!

Am I allowed to be impressed anyway? Serious question. I think it might bother me if someone was being impressed at *how well I cope with* my sensory issues, but I'd like it if they were impressed at how well I *used* that insight to accomplish something. It seems like you've acquired a valuable skill I don't have (phone skills; I have phone anti-skills like panicking) even though it's been forced on you by circumstances, such as like insufficiently convenient accessible transport, and I think that's why I thought it was so cool. But. Um. Words?

Am I allowed to be impressed anyway?

Yes, you are. ^_^

What I meant was:

"I still find phone calls difficult/tiring/stressful/anxiety provoking/exhausting, but I DON'T HAVE ANY CHOICE ABOUT MAKING THEM IF I WANT TO GET MY BASIC NEEDS MET."

There's no non-phone way for me to get transport, or book medical appts, or...

Thanks for clarifying. I'm sorry that you are in a situation of being forced to routinely phone for basic things. That sucks.
