Was middleman for lots of messages to and fro to arrange a cinema trip this afternoon. Which, possibly being oversensitive to this kind of work thanks to my mobile-phoneless husband, I particularly dislike. So I feel accomplished, and the movie was surprisingly good too!

Wrote a to do list of 'realistic' and 'unrealistic' goals, where I was allowed to write anything on the unrealistic (I forgot to put 'organise world peace' and 'further the ... agenda', will try harder next time). And I completed almost all of the realistic. Including finishing a blanket and then starting on project Pussy Hat*.

* I wasn't up to it when the hats were being made, but a friend made an offer on International Women's Day over on FB to make anyone who wanted one a pussy hat. I have a stack of pink and pink-ish yarn put aside for a project I'm probably never going to make, so I'm now contributing to that. Also accepting requests for Pussy Hats from people unable (including unable time wise) to make their own. No guarantees how long it will take me to get them done though!

Went to bed at 8:30 PM in the hopes of making a dent in sleep-deprivation.

Succeeded!

Slept an amount sufficient to the task at hand.

Packed sensibly for the convention.

Had quality time with my partner while getting ready. My partner has now seen the intricacies of Full Fucking Glitter eye makeup.

Had a lovely time at the convention, talking to a number of wonderful people.

Went home at a sensible time.

Good companionable moments with my partner.

I had a day off. Proceeded to full-clear a game and finish a novel and get some writing done. Go me.
