Recognised I was exhibiting symptoms of heat exhaustion after working in the garden in the middle of one of the hottest days of the year for too long (not paying attention to the time, aaaargh).

Went inside, lay down with feet elevated, drank a lot of water.

I read a book! And then I read another book but I was supposed to be sleeping so I'm not proud of that one. But I'm proud of the first! It's the first book I've read in like a year and the first in longer that I've read somewhere other than on a plane.

Had a quiet day, much needed after the week and before Monday. Gave my knee a good rest.
