Posting because I want to congratulate myself for yesterday. :P

Last night I went to Pilates instead of to the pub, even though my day sucked balls and ended with me crying in a meeting at work.

Taught my tutorials and Didn't Suck at it despite being sooooo tired.

I didn't chicken out while writing a blog post and got a few more followers as a result. :)

I sent an email requesting some information that I desperately needed, which involved ignoring some bad advice I was given by an authority figure not to email, and got a prompt and lovely reply that reduced my stress level from "near tears" to "bearable".

I also made progress on my travel arrangements for my upcoming research trip, and spent some quality time on the phone with my bank to deal with the resulting hold on my credit card.
