It was every bit as frustrating, irritating, and infuriating as you might imagine. But it's done.

One bag of TJ's tempura chicken is not dinner for the household. Tempura chicken plus pineapple over rice and with the leftover steamed vegetables from takeout, now that's dinner.

I tried an experimental instant pot barbecue idea, and it turned out deliciously, if not exactly as I wanted it to. (Not tender enough, which is probably down to both the cut of meat and a little overcooking.)

I helped make dinner by cutting up beef.
