Just One Thing! (8 October 2014)

It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing that you've accomplished in the past 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling accomplished!

Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange, or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!

Was left by myself with friend's baby for the first time so friend could do DIY. I took the baby for a walk and realized people are much friendlier when you're pushing a buggy!

Survived a glucose tolerance test involving fasting for 17+ hours. I do not like going without food.

Celebrated survival by making large batch of ginger snaps.

I did an image search for Sukkah. They are fantastic, and the roof looks like the really fun bit to design!

Yay for surviving the foodlessness! (I get soooo grumpy if I do not eat...)

Mmmm, ginger snaps :)

I think anything like that, a baby or a dog or whatever, makes (British, anyway) people feel more able to break the ice.

Thank you! And now, fingers crossed for a negative result.

Oh yeah, the grump level was pretty high that morning. Especially since the toddler got really upset that I didn't have porridge at breakfast, and insisted that I have a bowl in front of me which I then had to pretend to eat. On the one hand, her concern was very sweet. But OTOH, AUGH! :P

Yes. Toddlers have strange ideas about how Things Should Be Done, and their parents have no clue how they came to those conclusions!
