I actually got up today. Now bear in mind that last week we ended up staying in a hotel to stay away from my egg donor after she threatened yet again to call the cops to my husband, claiming that he was trying to kill her -- when we were both actually already at work. Since Monday, I have done almost nothing but sleep when at home, and I even hesitate to really call it that now. But I've been up for a couple of hours at night when I come home to J and Wanda's at work. A couple of hours in the day time, barely going but not actually DOING anything.

Today I managed to have another civil conversation with her so that she could buy something for her part of the groceries. I managed to make sure she was fed and even did some quick cookies for all of us. And I managed to clean. In other words, I managed to have a normal morning before going into work.

J's getting cold feet about leaving the area, and about leaving her. She's convincing him over and over again that she's an idiot. That doesn't set well with me, but I don't know what to do about it. Not yet at least.
