I paid my bills.

I wrote a frostily polite and gently threatening e-mail to a company that deserved both.

I also wrote a series of very cheerful and grateful e-mails to a bookshop in Newcastle that updated their titles database with all the options I suggested, so I now get to be Msc Kaberett with them.

I made it back home in one piece! Nor did I freak out while my uncle drove me to the train station (he loves driving fast, does it v. well but *yikes! clings to seat*)

The threat of being killed by my roommate motivated me to clean ALL THE THINGS I WAS SUPPOSED TO. And then I talked about my feelings with a therapist and stuff. And then I tried to cuddle my cat, but socializing got in the way.

Started a major redesign of my site, adding functionality and cleaning up the layout.

Downloaded photos from my camera to my computer. For, uh, the first time since May.

Wrote like fifteen hundred words of notes on the latest novel.

Someday I will come into this comm and be all "I FINISHED A NOVEL". That day grows farther away with every new project I think up.

So I went to bed early.

Swam all the way to the buoy and back. It wasn't very far since the tide was on the low side but I'd been swimming for a while already so it felt great anyway. :)
