Wrapped my mother's birthday present. Planned and executed a small grocery run (even if I did have to get Dad to drive).

...tiny accomplishments are even more meaningful when zoned on oxycodone, okay.

I finished writing and submitted a job application for a position at a major research university that I won't get - but that I definitely wasn't going to get if I didn't apply.

Sandwiched and ditch quilted three tiny quilts destined for the neonatal intensive care unit - am stumped on binding, but I have 2-3 weeks to meet deadline. Also much running of kids around, made it to ballet class despite 38C heat, and had dinner organised for friends who had had a similar day ('simplified' logistics had us trading off kids).

They are amazingly small (40*60 cm), but the babies they will go to will be so small, they will look large.
