Some announcements!

Hi, guys!
So we've been around for a while. We had a really useful request for comment post a while back, and I'm working on figuring out what is happening there.
Coming Sunday, after we follow up on Monday's goal-setting exercise, I'm going to post a feedback poll which will inform some new things. But in the meantime, here is what I am introducing, or at least making explicit:
1. Every day is posting and commenting amnesty day.
What this means is - first, this is your community, too! Please feel free to post at any time, with your successes, conundrums, failures, ramblings or carefully-structured thoughts. Please try to keep your posts at least faintly relevant to the comm, if you're dithering over whether or not to post it, post! We will try our best to cheer you on. (Posters, if you are looking or not looking for a specific response, please try to communicate that, whether that's "no advice please", "I just want someone to cheer me on", "can I get a witness", "what are your thoughts?" or whatever else. Commenters to member posts, please read and try to provide what the poster asks for.)
Second - you can comment to any challenge post at any time! Missed yesterday's Just One Thing and want to post yesterday's successes on today's post? There was no Just One Thing today (maybe there was a different challenge today, or maybe randomling just forgot, and you want to post today's successes to a three-day-old post? Excellent. Feel free to post something that's been around for years, to go back and find the right challenge to post a particular day's success on, or otherwise use the challenge posts as you see fit.
2. I'll be starting guest hosting at the beginning of 2014.
The feedback poll on Sunday will inform of the details of how this is going to look, but I'm imagining it as follows:
* At the start of the month, I'll post a guest host sign-up post for the following month - so I'll post the first post at the start of December, for people to host in January.
* If you sign up, you'll be running the comm for a week! I'll ask you to run a set number of challenges - probably one a day - during the week, and you also have free rein to post any additional challenges or discussion posts as you see fit.
* More on this after the feedback poll!
3. I'm thinking about having theme weeks.
These will probably be once a month, and I will probably start off by keeping them to weeks I'm hosting. Possible themes for theme weeks include: mistakes and how to recover from them, what does it mean to be qualified for something, managing expectations, conflict and how to deal with it, and acknowledging accomplishments. I may sometimes tweak the challenges during a theme week to reflect the week's topic. More on this after the poll, too!
Thoughts? Ideas? Questions? Have at it in the comments!
