It's challenge time!

Got a couple of things off my to-do list that have been there for far too long.

Rejigged my to do list: it now has the following headings:

Brain-dump to-do list (remember: it's healthy and normal for your to-do list not to be at zero)

Must be done within 24 hours
Must be done within 48 hours
Must be done within a week
Must be done within a fortnight
Must be done within the month
Must be done within 6 months
12 months
2 years
Undecided braindump eg I don't know when it needs to be done by, I'm just dumping it out of my brain.

Took out some rubbish.

Took out some recycling.

Did some laundry.

Had a shower.

Played my role in a crisis without a hitch: checked my documentation, accepted support, summoned the necessary people, gathered information, and performed handoff. Debriefed with my support.

Had a terrible idea, carried out the terrible idea, confessed to having done so. Received guidance on not *actually* screwing up, after it turned out the terrible idea was only moderately terrible.

Attempted to support my little girl through various tech hell, but she's doing great on her own and really all I need to be is moral support, not tech support. I think this means I've done my job correctly! \o/

New dev orientation!
