Just One Thing (11 August 2016)
It's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.
Go!

Have been and shall continue to be very polite to both asshole classmate and classmate defending asshole classmate. Angry with them both, yes, and I'm sure that came through loud and clear, but polite.

Oh, the shittasticness was not just the asshole and his defender. Tech problems. Tech problems. Health problems. People who make my job harder because they don't bother following policies. (Seriously how hard is it for these people to send an email to the management team saying "hey we're sending you this many pieces of one-hour-priority work", as policies require, so that we know they're coming?) Tech problems. Money problems. A class I was looking forward to this fall got cancelled. Freaking ridiculous hot weather! The asshole and his defender were really a small part of my day. It's just that the shit ain't let up all day!
But yeah. I am proud of not crying and also of staying polite.

*Years 11 & 12 are their own special hell. These are the years that the university entry subjects are studied, usually over the full two years, and it is Serious Bizniz selecting subjects, especially if the desired university course has pre-requisites.
