Just One Thing (14 October 2016)
It's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.
Go!

Observed a tiny little bit of a ridiculous delicate amazing thing pointing in a direction that made me fizz with delight. Pointed my fizzing in directions less likely to splash all over the delicate bits.
Neither caved nor exploded at the (fucking) medical scheduler who called me before 9am local time, in direct contradiction to the NEVER CALL THIS PATIENT THIS MEANS YOU that's supposed to be all over my file.
Got myself to my appointment safe and sound.
Recognized that my doctor's instructions weren't going to work with my body, said so, and got alternate instructions.
Communication, including some "so what exactly is the underlying scenario here?" bits.
Had fun with friends.
Updated various ex-co-workers on my current health situation, with a high-level summary and good humor. (Disconcerting some of them. Quoth sweetie: "That's the fun part!")
Made a food choice a little out of my comfort range which paid off in deliciousness, to the point that the friend across from me remarked on my blissed-out expression.

Well done for handling all the medical stuff and managing to communicate and have fun too.
