Dropped Partner off at the airport and drove home, in the dark, with both kids in the car and with the toddler screaming the entire 40 minute journey. It was...character-building.

Thank you. Me too. I really dislike night driving, especially in places with no street lighting.

*nods* Twilight is usually worse than night for me, because it creates disorientation and uncertainty to what I can and can't see, but with any additional factors (such as mountain roads, or the screaming small human you had) night becomes the WORST. <3

Hosted joint party for a friend (whose birthday was a couple of weeks ago) and me (mine's in a few weeks). There was lots of food and booze and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Did the day where I saw a movie and played games as help for a friend's daughter's birthday, and it was enjoyable.

Not so much the after the birthday girl went home part, but I think that's mostly because I get really touchy when someone else seems to be taking happiness at something embarrassing I did or said.

Got a good amount of sleep.

Left for a party in plenty of time to do errands beforehand. Did those errands. (Specialty shop, coffee, gasoline, some groceries, more coffee. And I timed the grocery run such that if all the other things had taken more time than planned, it could be skipped.)

Attended a party. Caught up with friends.

Communication.

Learned how to do the physical version of a game I've played online for a while.

Had fun with the house rules.

Gave someone a ride home.
