Got my sewing machine back! Now to set it up on the table, where it is in the way, and get caught up on the sewing challenge I have foolishly signed up to.

I updated my phone operating system to the newest version. And I did a lot of things that indicate I am good at my job. Hooray me.

Did some errands, including sending a package in a timely fashion.
Picked the dinner venue.
Talked with my partner, including about our differing interests. It's okay that my partner is delighted by Pokémon Go, and I'm not. We'll still care for each other, and I can appreciate anything that adds that much simple joy to my partner's life.
Had a great dinner with the usual Friday night crew, and we didn't explode when things got political. (We're all roughly having the same basic goals, but differ in the details.)

Great stuff. I'm glad you don't have to share absolutely every interest with your partner to keep you both happy.
