Completed my first set of thallium columns! (Which involved getting into work at 7, which in turn involved getting up at 6. I have never before had a job where I was (1) happy to do that, (2) able to do it having got more than six five hours' sleep, and (3) routinely arriving between 1-2 hours later in seventh week. I seem to really love my job, in a way that is actually managing to combat the seasonal worsening of my chronic depression to a truly staggering degree. Normally by this point in a project I'm routinely failing to drag myself out of bed before 2pm.)
