Got out of bed this morning,

Compounded the mistake: Drove to work for overtime, too.

Finished one of the two questions for the assignment due Monday night, 10pm. Need to motivate on the other one, but really really glad to have finished this one (which is a fake journal article of about 2.5 pages)

Spent time with loved ones, and managed to find a little time for gaming.

Got up at 04:30 and drove the family to the airport.

After most of a day travelling, had a lovely meal with the children's grandparents.

Tried to take care of myself.

Took care of crises involving the kids.

Freaked out about moving.

Freaked out about things with no basis in current reality.

Aii. That sounds like quite the day. I hope that this is all progress towards good things.

The kids are feeling very supported, and I think they are now better equipped to deal with the situation at hand. You never actually ​want to hear "I love you and I think you're wrong" from your mom, but sometimes it needs to happen.

The surgery was minor, but there is some lingering pain on account of what all got disturbed. It's improving daily!
