Just One Thing (26 May 2017)
It's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.
Go!

Accurately realized that the tow truck would not physically be able to get the second cube into the intended place.
Gave good directions so the tow truck wouldn't have to back and turn again.
Complained to the moving cube local dispatch office about the lack of forklift.
Helped tow truck operater with the levers for the second cube. Gained new appreciation for the applied physics of it.
Flagged the corners of the cube as traffic hazards.
Called the moving cube head office to gently suggest that the forklift was not an optional part of this operation even if the tow truck operater is a frickin' artist with their machine.
Called the tow truck company to praise the frickin' artist.
Asked maintenance if they had a pallet jack.
Asked tech-slack if anyone had a pallet jack.
Called Home Depot Pro about renting a pallet jack.
Past-me had decluttered the car so the things in the trunk fit in one load of the little green wagon.
Helped lift the pallet jack into the trunk of a Dodge Neon. This takes at least three strong people.
While in serious pain, communicated to others what they needed to do to keep me from worse injury.
Accurately assessed my first aid needs (ice).
Secured the lid of my trunk with plastic twine and ingenuity.
Begged for help unloading the pallet jack. Without crying.
Talked with my sister about a possible room to rent. (Same building.)
Figured out how to fit the pallet jack under the cube.
Accepted help shoving the cube (it takes 4 strong people).
Guided the pallet jack back into the trunk.
Returned the pallet jack within the four hour rental time. Asked for the appropriate number of people to unload.
Got safely home just in time to take a call asking for my choice of penultimate dinner venue.
Showered off the grease and blue hair dye.
Talked with my partner.
Had a lovely dinner.
Caught up with an additional friend.
Went to bed at a sensible hour, even without my partner prompting me.
