Managed my mother

Oof. Well done on performing emotional labour.

Much sorting through of the basement. So much laundry. Giving my partner an assist with executive function, and with some of the tasks that can be accomplished by anyone with the sufficient strength and/or manual dexterity.

Giving the cat the petting she demanded. (Test passed.)

Scraping shelf paper off a shelf that it was very stuck onto.

A nice dinner together.

Met up with friends at the Three Counties Show in Malvern. Ate a lot of ice cream. Admired a lot of tractors and furry domesticated mammals. Managed not to overheat.

Continued to make headway on the enormous task before me, with plenty of WTFery involved, and the discovery that some things that should have been part of the task were missing.
