I managed to email the first 3k words of my welsh story to a friend. Apologies that all my things are about Welsh this week, but I'm not doing much else with my life :(

Did other politics admin things, like e-mails and conversations and getting stuff ready to mail.

Accepting that everyone was just Too Hot to go to bed at the usual time and snuggled together to watch Danger Mouse until it was cool enough upstairs to have stories and bedtime.

Finished the last school visit for the year, and then drove a significant ways to take part in what is becoming a sort of annual tradition of a conference.

Yay, conference!

Recognized that showering and dressing at home would eat time to no point. Threw the things I would need into the car. Drove a few dozen miles in my nightgown.

Alternated packing for the conference and doing household tasks to get my partner's household closer to order.

Embarked upon a journey of discovery in my partner's most important music collection. Learned how to use an old-school iPod with the click wheel.

This trip is the first time I have stayed in a hostel. It's going well so far. (Though it would be nice to be able to snuggle with the partner. Twin bunk beds are not ideal.)
