Woke up at the appointed hour.
Tried to be prepared for the DMV type shenanigans despite the recalcitrant computer.
Presented my situation to the clerk in hopes that she could fix it for less than $81. She did.
Accepted help.
Unbolted the license plate from my old and broken car, and said goodbye.
Dealt with flooding in the basement for the first time. Followed instructions. (It's a common problem in the area. There's a sump pump.)
