Organised a productive meeting

Wrote, tested, modified, tested, sent to beta a script in under 3 hours. Yes, it is an itty bitty thing that takes a data set and makes two maps, but I imagine that co-worker will get quite a bit of use out of it.

Had a talk with a friend to help me make a decision I'd been stalled on for weeks.

Went to an exercise class even though my exercise buddy was sick and couldn't go.

Accepted that I'm still ill, called in sick, reorganised all my meetings for next week, then went back to bed.

Excellent work! Scripts don't have to be fancy to be useful. I remember my officemate wrote me a simple one when I was having problems with something during my PhD, and I used it almost daily for the rest of my studies.

That is very cool about the simple script that you used so often! I agree that scripts don't have to be fancy, but they do have to be robust. This one deals with a 'rare' edge case that is actually quite important for what we do.
