Am working on training our foster dog some mannerly things to make her more adoptable. She is getting *much* better about not pulling on her leash on walkies, and she is learning how to "off" and is now at a stage where she will mostly leave food in an open hand alone if there are frequent reminders. AND when she was about to roll in some stinky gross dessicated dog poop when we were out on a walk and I said "OFF" very loudly, she stepped back from it and looked surprised, which was enough time for me to get her away and avoid bath times. Also also we are working on distracting her from her fear of big dogs.
