I talked about FEELINGS with family members for whom FEELINGS are usually things we Do Not Talk About. Ever. Or if we do, they are Secrets from other family members.
Basically, my therapist is awesome and...let's just say I feel like I have magic powers every time I have a scary conversation that basically involves me acting as though I am talking to, say, someone on dreamwidth...and seeing what the other person does (and also not being overly invested in the results).
FEAR ME, I AM THE SUPERHERO OF I HAVE FEELS AND WILL SHARE THEM IN A BOUNDARY-RESPECTING MANNER AND EVEN (GASP) LISTEN TO YOURS BUT SET BOUNDARIES WHEN THEY CROSS INTO UNHEALTHY
ahem.
Also, my bathroom is a lot cleaner than it was this morning.
