Picked-up yesterday's mail, treated myself to the McDonald's drive-thru, took the trash and recycle bins out to the street to be put in, picked-up the floor so the carpet cleaner can clean the carpets (he's here now), and trying to not be so sad.

Transcribed a bunch of Land Tax records from the 1780s. It was tedious but will hopefully be helpful for a thing I’m writing.

Got up early and went to the gym for the first time since March with my mom, who really wanted to go. I was less pleased at going but I survived.

Oh no. I am sorry I missed this, if you've mentioned it here in the past couple of weeks. You've worked so hard as a carer these past few months; it's been both admirable and heart-breaking to read. I'm very, very sorry for your loss.

Thank you. Don't be sorry. I may have very well not mentioned it. I know I haven't been on a lot lately. First it was the dog, and then I had to put Mom in hospice, and then she died very soon after. It's been a rough lately. It was also the 10th anniversary of my Dad's death this week. That was the same day as the month anniversary of my Mom's.

It is very pretty. My penmanship was never all that great. I'm fascinated by how people used to write like that.

My Mom's friends have been great and my best friend from my school days has been awesome. I just spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with her. I have no idea what I'd do without her.
