Well, right now, I've only just gotten up, so that's my one thing, I suppose. But finding out that I've got a new gig next week means the time I was going to spend on the couch all leisurely-like this weekend is now filled with work so I can (hopefully) not actually have an 80 hour week next week.

Unpacked stuff. That may be my 'one thing' for a while. ;)

I successfully did a thing that I am not yet actually qualified to do, and am not supposed to be qualified to do for several months. (We were seriously shorthanded last night. There was literally no one else available.) I successfully did a different thing that I have never done before and neither has most of the section including one of the manager backups. I survived that second thing, even though it was three hours of shenanigans last night (plus an estimated half hour of shenanigans on preceding nights).

I did not actually kill the agent with my brain when I called him to make sure he had received both the could-be-emailed bits and the had-to-be-faxed bits and he told me he needed a fourth copy. (My manager swore—she never swears, it's impolite and unprofessional—and then called the agent up and told him off. That was amusing.)

Past 61k mark on original novel. Still in an advanced state of WTF on that one.
