Just One Thing! (1 September 2014)

It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing that you've accomplished in the past 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling accomplished!

Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange, or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!

Sent ALL THE E-MAILS. Including important ones about going on maternity leave. Also booked my last set of flights for work travel (I hope), which I'll be taking at 28 weeks along (eep).

I did a really fucking hard thing.

I had a group project with one other group member, due today. I expected group member's piece on Sunday, and reminded him to send it to me yesterday. When he didn't, and then at 4 PM yesterday emailed me to ask me to do his portion of thing, I emailed him back and bcc'ed the professor explaining that no, I wouldn't do his thing, as a matter of fact I was going to finish the work by myself and not put his name on my lab report because that shit was Not Okay.

Terrifying. But fortunately the professor agreed heartily with me.

Excellent. You did the right thing rather than the easiest.
