It's challenge time!

 

Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

 

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished! Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Talked again w/neighbor across the hall on the phone, and with a staff member in charge of our building. He has been in contact with the guys doing work in my apartment, and they should be finished by tomorrow. He and a next-door neighbor are going to make sure my place is safe for human inhabitance. If so they will give me the green light and I will move back in on Friday. My tutor and I took a walk this afternoon. He was wondering about the moving date.

Got my summer student set up to do a bunch of stuff while I'm on leave.

Did a deceptive amount of basement work.

Helped my partner swap the places of two different lounge chairs. (Reclining but stiff, and soft but not reclining.)

Helped rearrange the downstairs guest nook a little. Along with the better fitting lounge chair, the extra pillows and fabric are out, there's a nightstand, and even a little desk and a privacy curtain.

Helped move things around so that the small guest nook looked much more like a guest nook.
