Had a frantic tidy of the house when my husband's sisters called and asked if they could come around and play board games because their plans to see their parents had fallen through. So while they were driving up here we actually got the place looking pretty nice.

It's still a novelty to me that we can host things like this (though admittedly we don't have enough dining room chairs yet!).

We had a brilliant night, which was especially great after my extremely listless and glum day.

Went on an Expotition to buy some fancy cheese. Bought fancy (pregnancy-friendly) cheese.

Fed the ducks with the toddler.
