I wrote a (supposedly) weekly blog post that I usually forget.

Scrubbed the bathroom, put away all the laundry, and fixed the heating again, sort of. My house is a nicer place to be now. :)

Toddler randomly picked up the picture of her great-grandpa in his Navy uniform this morning, so we sat down on the bed and I told her a couple of stories about him.

Lots of pom-pom waving, especially for the bathroom-scrubbing (my least favourite).

Day off tomorrow and put my foot down with the office for asking me to work.

Folded clean clothes, which I washed days ago but didn't get to fold until now.

It's so nice not to have to rush around with her in the mornings any more, now that she's at the new nursery. We have time to do such things together now.

Me too! I need to encourage mine to do more of it, especially my dad, who's great at telling stories but terrible about recording anything.
