A difficult client took all of their medication from me. I usually get refusals.

Final count on yesterday's words: about two thousand written and a chapter finished in draft!

(I mean, I think I have to add a couple scenes to clarify matters for people who are unfamiliar with canon, but as those scenes are substantially unchanged from canon I didn't see the point first go-through. So I am confident in saying that the chapter is finished in draft!)

After forgetting about it for most of the day, I finally remembered to give the bloke his box of birthday beer! (He'd opened all his other presents in the morning.)

I baked vegan chocolate cake (bonus: the oven warmed the house up some! and the cats kept me company while I cooked! and I chatted with friends while I guarded the cake as it cooled.)
