Just One Thing (27 May 2026)
May. 27th, 2026 08:39 amIt's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished! Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Date: 2026-05-27 02:11 pm (UTC)and took the 240 litre recycling bin from completely and utterly empty
to 95% full.
(The Mountain Of Doom is a pile of mixed rubbish and not-actually-rubbish that has taken over what is supposed to be the combined loungeroom/dining room, apart from a narrow diagonal pathway leading to the front door, for reasons including
a) sometimes I am too sick to take out the rubbish/recycling
b) I often generate cardboard boxes faster than the recycling bin gets collected - it only gets collected every 14 days
c) there's a backlog from when my very close nextdoor neighbours who I share a driveway with were doing asbestos removal and it wasn't safe to take stuff to the outside bins for several weeks.)
