Date: 2026-09-27 03:16 am (UTC)The ICU is quite draining, but mom improved dramatically yesterday, and we decided that I could take my previously planned weekend off.
Home in own bed next to own husband, eating own snacks and drinking TEA instead of coffee... Lying flat listening to birds instead of perched in a chair with beeping monitors. Very soothing and restful.
