Had appointments with builders to assess work that needs doing on the house.

Looked after Andrew when he was sick in the middle of the night. Looked after the dog when he tried to bite the electrician who came to fix a light in the basement (the dog's a good dog, but the electrician did step on his foot twice and seem scared of dogs...).

I hope no one needs any more looking after today; I'm shattered.

Oof. I bet. It sounds like you had to look after the electrician too. Three's definitely enough!

Yep, luckily he was okay with the dog after a while (and mostly we try to keep the dog out of the basement where he was working, anyway) but he also had questions I wasn't the right person to answer, so argh.

Oh well: all done now. Lights work, Andrew's having comfort food for lunch, dog's happy. I might need a nap. :)y

I submitted a job application (after a lot of computer drama involving compiling pdfs). My first academic job application!

Had my first in years counselling appointment.

Looked out job applications. Completing those is one of my main tasks this weekend.

Had a shower
Brushed my teeth
Listened to some podcasts
Went out to dinner.

Didn't have much energy at all today, so am proud of what I managed.
