YAY for trips and driving!

Thank you! It was a trip to see the out-laws. We had a barbecue. It went on for hours, and we ate all the things. So good!

Had no internet all day to post my scheduled update. :(

But did a lot of things, including helping with an impromptu barbecue (so impromptu that one of the things we had to do was buy and assemble the little portable barbecue! :) ).

No worries. I hope the barbecue was delicious!

It was great -- my carnivorous friends made sure I had plenty of halloumi, peppers and corn-on-the-cob from the grill, and they even bought me a root beer! (that tasted much more like dandelion and burdock than usual, but never mind; it's the thought that counts)

Halloumi is the best, especially from the grill. Corn-on-the-cob is also best. Oh man, I just ate dinner and now I'm hungry again!

Delicious food is an excellent thing to have.

It was a day of delicious food, also consisting of me making pancakes for the same group of people, and them sharing their leftover takeaway with me. :)

Oh, crap, that's right, I wasn't supposed to let Dad forget about cleaning the strawberry jelly off the oven floor once the oven was cool--

I email him now, but nothing he can do about it till he gets home. (Unless he wants to tell me or Mom to clean it instead of doing it himself like he said he was going to.)

i went swimming in da ocean which was cold but fun!

also I cooked dinner with no recipe and it was fun and creativity rather than crowd!demands turned into more than "dump pasta sauce on pasta". yay for boundaries, fun, and also tasty food.
