I went back to campus, which I was very nervous about because I was afraid people were going to ask how my summer was (my answer at this point is liable to amount to ANGRY FEELINGSBOMB), and got through the meeting I needed to get through, although not gracefully. I also briefly talked to my advisor. A little bit of ANGRY FEELINGSDUMP got through, but she was sympathetic, which helped, and I've now successfully conveyed to her that I need the rest of this week to get my shit together on multiple levels, and that we should have our recap-of-summer, planning-for-fall meeting next week.

... oh wow, that is super-impressive. (I have had TOO MANY FEELINGS meetings w/ tutors & directors of study, and I well know how hard they can be, so -- yeah, solidarity & congratulations.)

I got out of bed in time to entertain ALL my guests. It was my birthday. :3

I got up the nerve to email a professor who makes me nervous.

-Survived the first day of class despite being stressed out by family drama.

-Talked to friends and had so much fun!

-Went to a waffle house and had pancakes at 3 in the afternoon.

-Finished draft in the earlier morning and sent it off.

-Didn't punch anything until I got home.
