Went to Southwold. Ate a delicious fish and chip lunch. The toddler had a brilliant time running in and out of the waves on the beach, and the baby tried sand and sea with as many senses as he could.

Phoned my nan. She lives in Leeds and thankfully is in an area unaffected by the floods.

Saw my grandma -- the last chance I'll have to do that for at least six months.

Did not sulk, rage, or get depressed as basically all of my attempts to make technology work in my favor all went kerflooie.
