It's challenge time!
Comment with Just One Thing that you've accomplished in the past twenty-four hours. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you’re feeling accomplished!
Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Date: 2013-09-23 06:25 pm (UTC)Also there's a CopperBeech apartment complex on the far side of town that I'd heard of, and there's a Coppertree condo development a few mles from where I live that I hadn't. So when I saw the email, I just said "oh, I know where Copper Beech is!" and figured that I would just look for the building where all the cars were. So of course I went out to the west side of town and got lost trying to find the place that wasn't there.
So I went home to check the address again and take some ibuprofen because of a medical thing acting up, and instead of just calling it a loss and staying home, I actually went back over to he house once I figured out where it was. I was an hour late by that point, still in a lot of pain because ibuprofen doesn't do much for me, and it turned out to be about fifty or sixty people I didn't know who were all already talking to other people, but I stayed long enough to eat before I decided that it was more than I could deal with. And I guess it's something to ignore the "I should haves" (I should have stayed longer, I should have tried harder to edge into someone's conversation, I should have been more outgoing) and be okay with recognizing what I could handle at that point.
