Had sociable and supportive impulses. Examined them against each other and against my relationship agreements. Realized that this was exactly the kind of situation that the relationship agreements were put in place to cover. Asked friends to hold me accountable in case my determination failed. (I have great friends.)

Successfully introduced a new-to-him dinner venue to Purple, with great success.

Later, dealt reasonably with unexpected flashbacks.
