It turns out that in any two-person group where one of them is a bit strong-willed, that the strong-willed party may run the risk of doing a social steamroller over the other one, perhaps without noticing.

A friend of mine and I are particularly concerned that this not happen with us. Therefore we have commenced what is intended to be a regular pattern of making sure that we have not just done the thing.

I have come to the realisation that part of the problem with my lack of progress on a couple of projects has to do with an inability to see /complete the whole thing at once mixing with a hatred of starting and finishing certain types of Thing* at a single session. So, today, I have been asking myself 'what will I value doing'. Small steps, but progress has been made. (And weirdly, I've done more than usual in the evening two days in a row, and I feel fine. Waiting for the fatigue brick to hit with a vengeance, but I'm going to keep pushing it while it works)

* craft projects are difficult, because 'finished' is variable; cleaning is problematic because I either over-focus, or ramble.

Breaking projects down into manageable blocks is hard work. well done for making progress on determining what constitutes a manageable block.
