It's challenge time!

Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.

Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished!

Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!

Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

Go!

Bedroom is tidied. And vacuumed. And the sheets have been changed on the bed.

Also, finished the interim book sorting project of 'move all the cookbooks to the shelf where they will get used', including semi sorting (vegan/vegetarian/allergy books together, heavy books on the bottom shelf, 'why do I have this one' on a pile for the rest of the household to veto). I have between 3 and 4m of cookbooks, and it has taken well over a week to get this sorted.

My first of four days looking after the LGBT+ stall at Lib Dem conference. So many humans. So tired.

I'm impressed. Handling humans in large numbers is probably the emotionally toughest job that people do. Thanks for your hard work on behalf of the alphabet-soup crowd (which includes me) and by extension everybody.

I really enjoy doing it. But it's draining. My boyfriend's been very good at looking after me, and we're staying with his sister who's making sure we're fed and we have a lovely guest bedroom to stay in. So I feel like I'm as well-looked-after as possible. :)

It was *weird.* I posted about how it never happens, and then the next morning, I did it.

Granted, it was basically finding a nice way to say "I have the spoons to handle going to the coffee shop and back without falling apart emotionally, but not to bail you out if *you* fall apart before I've gotten a smidgeon of conscious me time, so I wanted to give you fair warning where that line was at the moment because while I love being there for you it's been a shit week." But. Um. It worked? Possibly only because S and I synched up on not-awful brain chemistry for half the morning before the napmonster got me, but hey, I'll take it. :)

That is awesome, seriously awesome. Being able not only to know your lines but articulate them clearly and caringly before they can be crossed is seriously Advanced Human Beingness, IMO.

Thank you for your kind words. I am trying. Introspection is easier than understanding others for me.

You're more than welcome--- for one thing, I totally get the "understanding self is easier than understanding others" Thing. (I often know where my lines are; realizing that I have to put words to them, and in ways that will make them graspable for others? That one takes work.)

Loaded dishwasher.

Did math homework. Mentally screamed at how placement of negative in parenthesis with an exponent can throw off the entire problem. Also mentally wept at whoever had the bright idea of putting radicands in the problem.
