High energy day today (by my standards)

Took out recycling x 3

Cleared all remaining rubbish and recycling out of kitchen sink #1

Introduced some friends who I thought would get along. They did! And we had lovely food and tea.

I caught up on sleep, food, and so forth after the work week. I also did some laundry.

Communication.

Housework, including the realization that no, I did not in fact need that pink/white/black abomination of a windbreaker, despite the fact that it fits all right again. And that it was in bad enough shape that it should just go.

Got the spark of an idea to see if I can work it up into a proposal for a conference talk.

Nice little moment or two with a friend. :)

Tried out a gymnastics class with the preschooler and the toddler. It was a huge hit. Everyone wants to go again. \o/

Went to visit friends who have children the same age. Had a good catchup. Cuddled guinea pigs.

Finished painting the glosswork in the the children's new room. Carpet is being installed on Wednesday and then the house can go back to normal until the next DIY project can be afforded. PHEW.
